micro1 Referral Program: How Company Data Referrals Pay (2026)
micro1 publishes conditional company referral rewards: $50,000 for Enterprise deals up to $700,000, or 7.5% of the deal value above that threshold; and $75,000 for Defunct deals up to $1 million, or 7.5% above that threshold. Eligibility, attribution, data transfer, data approval, and payout approval are required. These are published program terms, not a compensation promise from Revlift. No bonus is guaranteed.
For marketers, agencies, and consultants, this is a way to introduce an existing business relationship to a separate data-licensing opportunity. It is complementary to AEO services: a company can work on AI search visibility and separately decide whether licensing operational data makes sense. Neither activity guarantees a result in the other.
Independent referral link. Revlift cannot act for micro1. No acceptance or compensation is guaranteed. Before referring a company you own, control, work for, are engaged by, or have a financial or other beneficial interest in, first disclose the relationship to micro1 in writing.
This link opens the company onboarding route with Revlift's referral code. If you want to earn by referring companies yourself, first set up your own independent referrer account and obtain your own tracked company link. Do not give a prospective company someone else's referral link and expect the referral to be credited to you.
What is being referred, and who gets paid?
The referral concerns a company that may license qualifying operational data to micro1. The company is the prospective data-licensing participant. You are the independent referrer who helps it discover the opportunity and use the correct application route. Those roles have different responsibilities and different compensation.
The company's data-licensing compensation is separate from your referral reward. Do not present the referral figure as the amount the company receives, or add the two together as an earnings promise. micro1 evaluates the data opportunity and agrees the licensing terms with the company. Your reward depends on the applicable referral tier and the required milestones.
The official company referral page is the source for the reward amounts and attribution rules below. It describes a sequence of registration, company assessment, contracting, data delivery, and approval. This guide concerns those company data partnerships, rather than job-candidate referrals or an unrelated affiliate offer.
How much does the micro1 referral program pay?
The two published company-data tiers use different fixed amounts and thresholds. Once the relevant threshold is exceeded, the percentage applies to the final licensing deal value. It is not a fixed payment plus a percentage of the excess.
| Partnership | Fixed reward | Above the threshold |
|---|---|---|
| Enterprise | $50,000 for deals up to $700,000 | 7.5% of deal value above $700,000 |
| Defunct | $75,000 for deals up to $1 million | 7.5% of deal value above $1 million |
These are program reward rules, not a forecast of your income. A company may not qualify, a proposed deal may not proceed, or the required data and payout approvals may not be completed. Use the final deal classification and value confirmed by micro1 when evaluating an actual referral.
Worked Enterprise examples
For an Enterprise deal valued at $500,000, the published fixed referral reward is $50,000. At exactly $700,000, the deal is still within the fixed-reward band. For a deal above the threshold, such as $800,000, the calculation is $800,000 multiplied by 7.5%, which equals $60,000.
That last example is not $50,000 plus 7.5% of the extra $100,000. It uses the whole deal value. It is an illustration of the published formula, not evidence of a completed transaction or a promise that a company you know will receive an offer of that size.
Worked Defunct examples
For a qualifying Defunct deal valued at $900,000, the published fixed reward is $75,000. At exactly $1 million, the fixed amount still applies. If the final deal value is $1.2 million, the percentage calculation is $1,200,000 multiplied by 7.5%, producing a $90,000 referral reward, subject to the program conditions.
Do not choose a partnership category simply because its reward is larger. The company and opportunity must fit micro1's assessment. A closed company's historical records also need an appropriate rights holder and an authorized decision-maker before a licensing discussion can progress.
Which companies should marketers and consultants approach?
micro1's data partnership overview describes established businesses with substantial historical operational records. Its published fit criteria emphasize 30 or more full-time employees, mature operations, primarily English documentation, and current demand prioritizing the United States and other Western markets. These signals help you choose relevant conversations; they do not establish automatic acceptance.
Operational data can include process documents, internal knowledge bases, project records, CRM workflows, and support documentation. The useful question is whether the records show how real business work happens. A public marketing brochure and several years of detailed operating history are different propositions, even if both are called company content.
Start with a business contact who can route a voluntary discussion to the appropriate internal owner. A current client is a company you are engaged by, so first disclose that relationship to micro1 in writing before referring it. The same requirement applies to companies you own, control, work for, or have a financial or other beneficial interest in. Consider continuing interests in former clients too; do not assume a past engagement removes every conflict.
Do not treat access to a client's CRM, files, or analytics as permission to license the information. Your role is to explain the opportunity and secure an interested introduction through the official process. The company should decide whether to apply, who can act for it, and what data may be discussed or transferred.
A practical qualification conversation
Before sending a registration link, ask whether the company has meaningful historical records, a person responsible for those records, and interest in reviewing a licensing proposal. Ask whether an authorized representative can complete the application. These questions save time without requiring you to collect sensitive files or offer a valuation.
For a defunct business, establish who is authorized to speak for the relevant data assets. A former employee knowing where files are stored is not the same thing as a person having authority to license them. Treat uncertainty about ownership as a reason to involve the company's appropriate representative before making a referral pitch.
How to refer a company to micro1
The following process separates your preparation from the company's application. It also protects attribution by making the tracked link part of the first registration, rather than something you try to add afterward.
1. Set up your independent referrer account
Complete micro1's independent referrer registration and policy consent. In the Company section of the referrer portal, copy your own company referral link from Opportunities. The company registration link in this guide is a separate entry point for companies.
2. Identify a company and ask permission
Look for a company with established operations and historical business records. Before referring a company you own, control, are employed or engaged by, or have a financial or other beneficial interest in, first disclose that relationship to micro1 in writing. Ask the company whether it wants to evaluate the opportunity, without pressure or collecting its underlying data.
3. Have the company register through your link
Give the interested company your unique company referral link before it registers. Its own representative must create the profile and complete the data manifest. Independent registration or another referrer's link cannot be retroactively reassigned.
4. Let micro1 evaluate and contract
micro1 reviews the company and its data. If there is a fit, the company and micro1 discuss licensing and complete contracting. Registration, an introduction, or a signed agreement alone does not earn a referral payment.
5. Track data approval and payout approval
The company transfers the agreed data for micro1's approval. After transfer and data approval, the referral enters payout approval. Track the referral in My Referrals and follow micro1's instructions once the payout is approved.
You can find the independent referrer registration route on micro1's official company referral page. That referrer account gives you the link that identifies you. The sponsored company registration button in this article serves a different audience: a company ready to evaluate participation through the referral code already attached to it.
Keep a simple record of permission to follow up, when you sent your own link, and the status visible in the portal. Avoid storing copied company datasets in your outreach tracker. The company and micro1 should handle data review and delivery through their agreed process.
When do you actually get paid?
The important sequence is data transfer, data approval, payout approval, then payment. A successful sales conversation is not a payment event. Neither is an account signup, a completed company profile, or a signed agreement by itself. micro1's company referral FAQ explicitly distinguishes those earlier steps from a payable referral.
The official page does not guarantee a fixed period from application to completion. Company eligibility, contracting, data complexity, and the speed of each participant can affect progress. Avoid offering a client or colleague a deadline for earning a referral reward when the program itself does not promise one.
Also keep company payment terms separate from referral payment terms. A timeline described for a company's data-licensing invoice should not be copied into a promise about your referral bonus. For your own payment, follow the status and instructions for the approved referral payout.
Attribution rules that can prevent a payout
The company must register through your unique referral link. micro1 says an existing registration made independently or through another referrer cannot be manually or retroactively changed. An email introduction, a meeting request, or completing an application on the company's behalf does not replace the company's own official registration.
Explain this before the contact begins onboarding. If it has already registered, do not suggest a duplicate account as a workaround. Ask micro1 to clarify the existing situation rather than promise a commission. Clear attribution is part of qualifying the opportunity, alongside the company's data and willingness to participate.
How to discuss the opportunity without overselling it
Lead with fit and process. Explain that micro1 assesses company operational data for potential licensing, that the company controls its participation decision, and that you may receive a reward for an eligible attributed referral. Then ask whether the contact wants to review the official information.
Use your own identity and email address. Do not impersonate micro1 or its employees or contractors, claim to be its agent, recruiter, representative, business partner, or authorized spokesperson, or suggest authority to act on its behalf. Do not quote an unapproved valuation or promise compensation, employment, project placement, hiring results, interview success, acceptance rates, or future work.
The same discipline applies inside an agency. Keep any client service agreement separate from this referral arrangement. A client should be able to consider its AEO work on its own merits and decline a data partnership without feeling that the two services have been bundled together.
What if your network contains referrers rather than companies?
micro1 also publishes a sub-affiliate option. If an attributed direct independent referrer earns an eligible paid company referral reward, the inviter can receive an additional 20% of that referrer's payout. The referrer keeps the full standard amount. It is a separate bonus, not a deduction from their reward.
The structure stops at direct relationships. micro1 says there are no multi-level payout chains, so this is not a multi-level earnings ladder. For the invitation workflow, bonus calculations, and payment order, read the micro1 sub-affiliate guide. The company-referral process above still underlies the successful data partnership.
micro1 referral program FAQ
Can I refer my employer, a client, or a company I own?
Before referring any company you own, control, are employed or engaged by, or have a financial or other beneficial interest in, first disclose that relationship to micro1 in writing. A website affiliate disclosure is not a substitute. Disclosure does not guarantee eligibility, acceptance, or payment.
Does Revlift represent micro1?
No. Revlift publishes independent referral information and has no authority to act for micro1. We do not speak as a micro1 employee, contractor, agent, recruiter, representative, business partner, or authorized spokesperson. Published program figures are conditional information, not promises from Revlift.
What is the micro1 referral program for companies?
It is a program that rewards eligible referrers for attributed company referrals that complete a qualifying data partnership. Payment depends on data transfer, data approval, and payout approval, rather than a registration or introduction alone.
How much does an Enterprise Data Partnership referral pay?
The published reward is $50,000 for a final licensing deal value up to $700,000, or 7.5% of the whole deal value above $700,000. The reward remains subject to qualification and the required approval milestones.
How much does a Defunct Data Partnership referral pay?
The published reward is $75,000 for a final licensing deal value up to $1 million, or 7.5% of the whole deal value above $1 million. A defunct company's eligibility and authority to license its data still need review.
When are micro1 company referral bonuses paid?
After the company's data is transferred and approved, the referral enters the payout approval process. Payment follows payout approval under the program terms. micro1 does not guarantee an application-to-payment timeline.
Can a company referral be attributed after registration?
No. micro1 says the company must register using your unique referral link. A company that already registered independently or through another referrer cannot be manually or retroactively reassigned.
Is the sub-affiliate program an MLM?
The published structure has one direct referrer relationship, with no multi-level payout chains. An eligible inviter receives an additional 20% of a direct sub-affiliate's paid referral bonus, without reducing that referrer's full standard payout.
Does a data referral replace AEO services?
No. A data partnership concerns licensing eligible company operational data. Answer engine optimization concerns a brand's visibility in AI answers. They have different buyers, deliverables, and payment models and can be considered separately.
Independent conduct and program terms
Participation must be voluntary. Do not pressure candidates or company representatives, mischaracterize micro1's business, use misleading statements, or imply that registration guarantees any outcome. Do not use referral links for candidate self-referrals, duplicate-account workarounds, or circular attribution. Follow applicable law and micro1's referral terms, and do not use links in ways that harm or could reasonably harm micro1's reputation, goodwill, or relationships.
These guides concern company data referrals and direct sub-affiliate invitations. They are not employment or recruiting offers. The referral terms govern participation; the public explanations and hypothetical calculations here do not create an entitlement to a payment.
Sources and next step
The reward tiers, process, and attribution requirements come from micro1's company referral program page. Company fit and data-licensing context come from its data partnership page. The separate 20% bonus and single-level limits come from its sub-affiliate page. Confirm the terms presented in your portal before acting on a particular opportunity.
If you are evaluating participation for your own company, first disclose your ownership or other interest to micro1 in writing before using a company referral link. This also applies to employment, client engagements, control, and financial or other beneficial interests. If you plan to refer unrelated companies, obtain your own referrer link and explain the attribution step. micro1 decides whether any referral is eligible.
Independent referral link. Revlift cannot act for micro1. No acceptance or compensation is guaranteed. Before referring a company you own, control, work for, are engaged by, or have a financial or other beneficial interest in, first disclose the relationship to micro1 in writing.
Revlift helps brands improve their visibility in AI answers through AEO services. Data referrals are a different product: they concern a company's decision to license eligible operational data, with a separate approval and compensation process. The two can complement each other without replacing either service. For the visibility side of that decision, see our guide to how much AEO costs.
